Handcrafted by artisans in Japan, Boro textiles are sewn together using reused and recycled indigo-dyed cotton. This method started in the early 1900’s because cotton was too expensive to import into Japan. Each pillow case has a unique layout of patches & scraps so that each is one-of-a-kind.
