Handcrafted by artisans in West Africa, using the Japanese technique of shibori, or “tie-dye”. Pure cotton is bound, dipped in a bath of indigo dye, & laid flat to dry in the sun. The cloth is woven & dyed by hand, resulting in a one-of-a-kind product.
